It’s been two weeks since I had Baby L and I am no where near where I want to be figure wise at the moment, but that’s ok! I’m sure most mums can relate when I say I am stuck in a bit of a limbo land between maternity clothes and pre pregnancy clothes. I don’t want to go out and get many new clothes at the moment because I’m hoping to tone up a bit, but then what if I never fit in any of my old pre pregnancy clothes again? What a dilemma – I feel like I’ve lost my fashion mojo! Luckily for me House of Fraser got in touch and offered to send a lovely Biba dress, from their dress collection, to make me feel like me again, rather than just me, the mum.

I really love the colour of this Biba dress. It’s a deep Red wine colour and is great for the Autumn Winter season coming up. The neckline is lovely as well. It adds a bit of interest to the top of the dress without being too over the top.
I’m a big fan of flutter sleeves and these are no exception. I think they will be a big trend over the next couple seasons. They seem to be everywhere!
I’m also loving a choker necklace at the moment. I’ve racked up quite a collection over the past month, and I picked this one up in a sale for £2 – bargain. I like the detailing on the zip at the back of the dress as well with the Biba tag.
I thought it was best to keep the accessories quite simple to keep the focus on the dress, so I went for simple sandal heels and a plain Black bag with some classic Gold hardware.
This dress would be fab for heading out for dinner, cocktails or even a good old proper night out. I like the elegant, but not over the top, feel of the Biba range and found the fit was really good as well. You could also easily tell the dress was of a high quality, which is always a winner.
Did you find your fashion sense was a bit lost after having a baby? I’m not sure where mine has gone!
*I was sent this dress for the purpose of this review but all opinions are 100% honest and my own.
