I was SO excited for the Glossier UK launch and put through an order pretty much as soon as their site went live. I’ve shared a few bits and pieces on Instagram stories and I’ve had lots of you lovely lot asking me my honest opinions on it all. So here is everything I bought and what I thought of all the products.
Milky Jelly Cleanser
I am very fussy when it comes to cleansers and so it takes rather a lot to impress me. The Glossier Milky Jelly cleanser is definitely up there in my favourite cleansers of ALL TIME! It practically melts into your skin and the texture is dreamy. It has massively improved my skin recently. I stopped breastfeeding and reintroduced dairy a few weeks ago and my skin went a bit crazy. The Milky Jelly Cleanser has calmed it all down again, and cleared it up.
Using the Priming Moisturiser in conjunction with the Milky Jelly Cleanser has really improved the overall feel of my skin. It feels much softer, looks healthier and, even with my lack of sleep every night, has a bit more of a glow about it. The Priming Moisturiser is a great base for your make up too and doesn’t feel too heavy underneath foundation. Really like this.
Balm Dotcom – Original
I only really got this because it came in a set with the Milky Jelly Cleanser and the Priming Moisturiser, but it has already become a firm resident of my handbag and has so many uses. I’ve been known to use it on my cuticles quite a bit. It has a really thick consistency and is very nourishing.
Perfecting Skin Tint – Light
This was probably the only product I bought which I wasn’t blown away by. I don’t think it’s got anything to do with the product itself, I just don’t think it’s a great match for my skin. I need quite a bit of coverage and even though the reviews I read said that it did provide great coverage, it was just too liquidy for my skin and I didn’t feel I got enough coverage.
Boy Brow – Blonde
This bad boy gives you a super quick and easy way to get fuller looking brows. As a busy mum I don’t have too much time to spend on my brows, before work in the morning, but the Boy Brow makes me look like I have! I always feel like my makeup has been ‘finished off’ when I do my brows as well. This looks like a mini little half a mascara brush and glides onto your brows super easily, filling them out and thickening them as it goes.
Haloscope Highlighter – Quartz
Show me something that will give me a glow and there is a 99.9% chance I will buy it. The Glossier Haloscope is such a great highlighter and I love the fact it’s a stick, rather than a liquid. I find it easier to apply. I find it gives me a subtle, but still noticeable, glow and I can build it up if I need to for night’s out etc.
Cloud Paint – Puff
I love, love, love the consistency of this. It is so light and glides onto your skin like a dream. You can either wear it super subtly or you can build it up for a bolder look. I love the Puff colour for an everyday blush. The packaging is super cute too.
Next on my Glossier hit list are:
– Moisturising Moon Mask
– Super Greens Galaxy Mask
– The Super Pack
– Generation G in shade Cake
– And the new Glossier You fragrance – I got a tester with my last order and it is just delightful!
