Thank you to Attachment Mummy for passing the Aldi blogger relay batton onto us!
We are BIG fans of Aldi. Whether it’s for our normal groceries, baby products or my personal favourites, their Prosecco and gin options, Aldi always have us covered.
Their award winning Mamia range contains everything you need for your little ones but have you ever thought about ‘borrowing’ some of the bits for yourself?! I for one have been known to steal a cheeky wipe when I’m out of my face wipes and I need to quickly get my make up off. And the cotton wool pads work so well with my eye makeup remover, I’ve started sharing them with L instead of buying us separate ones.
I’ve long been a fan of the Aldi Mamia Sensitive Baby Wipes. I’ll use any wipes that I can trust to be gentle and soft on my baby’s skin and these are definitely up there on my favourite list. They contain a dermatologically tested lotion with natural Aloe Vera and Chamomile, which makes them a great cleanser.
What makes these stand out amongst other brands is the price. Often when you pay less for baby wipes the quality goes down significantly, but not with Aldi. At 55p for a 64 pack you just can’t go wrong. We have never had a reaction with these and they are rally great quality wipes. No rip situations at the worst times with these!
In the past I’ve used a different brand of baby shampoo so I was really interested to see how we got on with the Aldi Mamia Baby Shampoo (79p for 500ml). With a three year old who really doesn’t like getting her hair washed we have to make sure that the shampoo we use is mild and tear free. This one is, contains vitamin E, and is suitable for newborns, if needed, as well.
Another little handy use for the Aldi Mamia Baby Shampoo is as a makeup brush cleanser! I’ve often used washing up liquid in the past but the baby shampoo keeps them SO much softer! I am a convert and will be using it for all my brushes going forward.
Lastly we tried out the Lacura Cotton Wool Pads (which are 69p for 200 – SUCH a good price!). I like using these after I’ve used a wipe when changing L’s nappy, when he’s a bit sore. I find keeping his little folds of skin completely dry helps to clear up any redness and soreness.
For me they are great because they have a multiple of uses. I use them for soaking nail varnish off, taking my eye makeup off, blending makeup. All sorts!
All in all, we are always impressed with the Aldi Mamia range and it’s been fun to find alternate uses for their fab products.
I pass the Aldi blogger relay batton onto The Mummy Adventure – I can’t wait to see what products she’s tyring out!
Do you use any Mamia products? Which are your favourites?
