It’s been a while since I managed to get round to doing a What My Kids Wore Wednesday post and that makes me sad! I LOVE sharing what the kids’ are wearing and I really enjoy putting together little outfits for them. This week we’re sharing two Ted Baker outfits that we kindly got to choose.
Here’s a fun fact, back in my old job – when we lived in London – I used to buy Ted Baker kids’ clothes for a well-known department stores’ international stores, so the brand has always had a special part in my heart! I love the signature prints and styling. I can always spot a Ted Baker item of clothing a mile off, which is a great thing for a brand.
First up is Meels’ outfit. She helped choose this legging and top set. and was very excited when it turned up in the post. She’s not usually a Pink girl (Blue is her favourite colour), so I was quite surprised at the choice. She said she liked the ‘pretty pattern with lots of flowers’ and ‘cosy leggings’. I’m not sure how she could tell they were cosy from the photo, but they are actually quite a good thickness!
The top is such a nice fit and is really soft. A great option for wearing during the day but it could also be dressed up with a pair of dark jeans and little pumps.
I love the quilted detail on the leggings. It’s adds something a bit different to them and makes them look super premium too. As do the little bow details too!
Oh my goodness, I’m in love with this mac and would love an adult version! The way it fits looks lovely, with the waistband detail, and the Navy colour and Rose Gold hardware go really well together.
It’s actually got a bit of a sheen to it, which is a nice touch. It’s got a zip away hood too, which is handy.
L’s outfit is serious comfort goals. It is a zip up hoody and bottoms set and is a really nice shade of Blue. Blue seems to be a colour that suits him quite well – probably because of his eyes. The zips blend in well and are good quality, which is always important in kids’ clothes!
I love the perforated detailing on the set. It adds a texture to it and looks great. The line stitching really adds to the top and bottoms too. The subtle branding is a nice touch. I’m not the biggest fan of over obvious brand logos etc on the kids’ clothes. He’s just turned two so the age 2-3 size is a tiny bit big for him on the bottom at the moment, but that just means they’ll last for ages!
His jacket is great. Practical and stylish. It’s a good length for him at this age because any longer would probably get in the way of his playing and running around outside. How good does the pop of bright Green inside look too!
The quality of the materials Ted Baker use for their clothes is always second to none and they feel so lovely and comfy against little one’s skin. Another total parent thing to say is that they wash really well too! They don’t lose their shape, colour or quality whatsoever, which is good news when you’ve got kids who like to put their clothes through their paces. My two are constantly on the go, inside and outside, and don’t give a second thought about how well they are looking after their clothes!
We absolutely love these lovely outfits and will be sharing a couple more over on our Instagram page soon.
