As this is our second baby, the newborn lust list is a little smaller than last time. We already have a lot of what we need but it hasn’t stopped me rounding up a few things for a cheeky, little newborn wish list.
I’m terrible with changing my mind about which double buggies I like but I seem to have fallen in love with the Bugaboo Donkey Duo as a double pushchair in the Grey colour way. I love the fact that the newborn carrycot and toddler seat can be next to each other.
We never got a baby pod type product with Little I and I regret it. She was a good sleeper most of the time but I loved the idea of them being all snuggled up, rather than just on the standard flat mattress. A few friends have had huge successes with the Sleepyhead nest so we’re excited to try this out.
Maxi Cosi Pebble Plus Car Seat
Maxi Cosi are such a well renowned brand when it comes to car seat safety and car seats in general. The Pebble Plus is such a great looking car seat, whilst being super functional and safe at the same time. It’s also amazingly easy to use with the isofix system. We love it in the Concrete Grey colour way.
We already have the Snuz bedside crib and are really excited to try it out. It really is such a game changer for newborn sleeping arrangements.
I fell in love with this changing basket when I saw it on Instagram. It’s something a little bit different and it looks absolutely amazing in real life too!
I really like the shape of the Stokke Sleepi bed. Stokke always make really good quality products so you would definitely get your money’s worth with this. As with a lot of Stokke’s products, it grows with your child which is always a winner.
We have the Angelcare sound and movement monitor at the moment but I’ve seen a few friends video monitors and am quite keen on one for the new baba. Mainly so I’ll be able to keep an eye on the both of them when they are in the same room!
Baby Wrap
I had a BabyBjorn carrier with Little I and I love it, and will continue to use it this time round, but I really fancy trying out a baby wrap as well. I used to think they were a bit ‘hippyish’ (don’t shoot me!) but I’ve been very inspired by all the gorgeous images of plain wraps on Instagram. So far we have wraps from Babein, Happy Wrap, Vivi and Me and We Made Me, so plenty to share with you once baby is here.
The Nuna Leaf chair is such a great looking baby product, which also serves a really important function – it helps you to get things done! It has an ultra smooth side to side motion which helps soothe baby and it can also come with a toy bar for entertainment. The fact it grows with your little one and that even toddlers and big kids can make use of it, adds to it’s appeal.
I’m a sucker for a luxury changing bag and have just discovered Jem + Bea. Their bags are absolutely stunning and they also offer a personalisation service – how fun! The ‘Mama’ and ‘Baba’ pouches are really fab too.
I’m really said that I didn’t do these with Little I. By the time I found about them, she was already about 6 months old. This time I’m determined to use these lovely ones from Milestone.
We aren’t finding out the gender so I am loving these gender neutral muslins from Molly and Moo.
