How far along: 10 weeks
Symptoms: I have a terrible cold this week, along with the husband. But his is so much worse, or course. Ha! It seems the only time I do get colds is when I’m pregnant so it must be true what they say about it affecting your immune system. The morning/mainly night time sickness has ramped up and I am feeling particularly vile this week. My face looks really Grey, never a good look. I need the pregnancy glow to kick in. My skin isn’t great either. Feels super dry and tight but is breaking out at the same time. Yucks.
Food Cravings: Still just junk. Not ideal! Particularly chips, which I rarely ate before I got pregnant. Sigh!
Sleep: Sleep isn’t great. Having crazy bad dreams and hips are pretty sore. This cold and the fact I can’t breathe out my nose doesn’t help either. It’s all a bit of a mess this week!
Stretch Marks: Nope. Long may it continue.
Miss Anything: I almost ordered a brie sandwich then realised I shouldn’t. Booo.
Best Moment: Properly hearing baby’s heartbeat on my new hand held fetal heartbeat Doppler, on Mother’s Day!! What a fab present! This new fetal heartbeat doppler is better than my old one so I’ve done a little video on how I found the heartbeat which you can watch here:
Worst Moment: None this week. Other than all the nausea and having to go to work full of the cold and gagging left, right and centre!
Looking forward to: The scan on FRIIIDAAAAAY! Oh the excitement! We are going to try and vlog it.
