How far along: 19 weeks
Symptoms: I feel like I’m getting every symptom under the sun. Every week it’s a new thing and I sound like I’m such a moan. Apologies! This week I appear to have developed a crazy blocked nose at night, which makes it uncomfortable to sleep. My boobs have grown AGAIN. How is this possible?! I hate having big boobs and am dreading being in a bikini on holiday in a week. They’re also rather sore, The leg and feet cramps have started to kick in. And I’m generally just really tired. Much more tired than last time! My blood pressure is still pretty low as well, because I’m dizzy 75% of the time and pretty much black out if I try to get up too quickly. Touch wood, only one headache this week.
Food Cravings: Still just strawberries. And still not enjoying eating meat.
Movement: Lots!! It’s so nice to be getting those little kicks now.
Gender: N/A
Sleep: The blocked nose at night isn’t helping with the old sleep patterns. It’s a bit rubbish waking up every morning with your mouth and lips completely dry after a night of breathing through your mouth. Bleh. Hopefully it passes soon. On a plus note as soon as my head hits the pillow, I’m out like a light.
Stretch Marks: Nope. Please stay that way.
Miss Anything: Not being dizzy!
Best Moment: Robert feeling the baby kick! He was so excited. I think it makes it more real for him. This pregnancy seems to be passing him by a bit more than my pregnancy with Little I. I don’t know if it’s because we’re super busy or if it’s because it’s happened rather quick compared to last time. Who knows, but it’s nice for him to experience as much as possible before he deploys.
Worst Moment: The couple times I’ve blacked out this week.
Looking forward to: The 20 week scan next week. I still don’t think we’re going to find out the gender, eek!
