How far along: 26 weeks.
Symptoms: I’m SO SO SO tired. It’s ridiculous. I’m used to being a complete night owl who can survive on about 5-6 hours sleep a night. Now I’m struggling to stay awake to get everything I need done at night. I have found myself asleep on the sofa a couple occasions without remembering falling asleep. Blood pressure is still rubbish. I think it’ll stay like this till this baba arrives. My sciatica and back pains seem to be much better so that’s a bonus. I get achey more in my ribs now because baby is so high up.
Food Cravings: Just strawberries again.
Movement: So much movement and this little one is getting stronger by the day. My poor ribs are taking a beating. Most my kicks tend to be pretty high up or round the side of my bump. I’ve also had quite a lot of kicks right in my belly button this week, which is a super strange feeling.
Gender: N/A
Sleep: Just need to get more of it!
Stretch Marks: Nope and I’m trying out a new stretch mark range this week to share with you.
Miss Anything: Still Rob. It’s so hard to think about how he’s not going to be a part of this pregnancy again until there is a baby here. I don’t think I was prepared for how that would make me feel. Boo for deployment.
Best Moment: Spending time with my mum. It’s hard not having your mum around when you’re pregnant. I didn’t have her round when I was pregnant with Little I either. You miss out on all the little things like general cups of teas and chats as well as the big things like going shopping for the new baba.
Worst Moment: Saying goodbye to my mum, wish she could have stayed forever.
Looking forward to: Hopefully getting flights booked to go home for my birthday.
