The Whole 9 Months Gift Box Review

There’s something really lovely about receiving a little parcel through the mail. What makes it even more special is if that parcel has been tailor made to a very special time in your life – becoming a mum.

You’ll have heard of beauty boxes, and perhaps baby boxes, before but there aren’t that many out there that are tailored purely for us mamas to be. The Whole 9 Months aims to change that with their range of ‘gift boxes of loveliness for modern mamas to be’.

There are quite a few options to choose from. There are pregnancy boxes for 0-6 months of pregnancy (RRP £51) and 6-9 months of pregnancy (RRP £55). Then there’s the birth box (RRP £50) and the motherhood box (RRP £78). You can check out the full range and what’s in the boxes here.

I  went for the birth box because I loved the sound of the unique products being offered.

What’s in my birth box:

  • Gurgle magazine
  • Birth ease aromatherapy oil and atomizer
  • Earth Mama organic mint lip balm
  • Earth MamaAngel organic post partum bath herbs
  • Ana Wiz washable breast pads
  • Water bottle
  • Hand held fan
  • Umbilical cord tie by Heartstrings

I love everything in my box. The aromatherapy oil smells great and the lip balm is lovely. I’m intrigued by the post partum bath herbs and look forward to trying them out. I’ll be trying to breast feed with this little one so will make use of the breast pads. I was ridiculously hot during labour last time so the fan will definitely come in handy. And I really like the idea of the umbilical cord tie, very cute. Oh, and who doesn’t love a magazine. Just need to find the time to read it!

There are also sibling boxes. These are such a good idea for new big brother and big sisters to be!

And the option to create your own box.

I think these gift boxes are a really lovely way to celebrate the mama to be or mama in your life. The boxes would make a great baby shower present, push present or Mother’s Day present. They have been really well thought out and will make any mama out there feel very special indeed.
