I love planning. I love stationery. I love writing things down on paper and trying to feel organised. But one thing I don’t love is that I never seem to have the time to actually sit down and do it properly. I’ve read all about journaling, and how it really helps people feel more in control of their lives and able to improve their productivity, but I am yet to experience it properly myself! Sure I try to manage our daily lives and to do lists on various calendars and in numerous diaries, but I can’t say I’ve been able to use the technique to improve my happiness or wellbeing.
I came home to a pretty little package from Bobbi Brown the other day and it had this little beauty of a Happiness Planner, along with a gorgeous pot of Bobbi Brown Pretty Powerful Pot Rouge – what a LOVELY combo! The Happiness Planner (£20 from Bobbi Brown studios) is a bespoke #PrettyPowerful tool to encourage female empowerment. Something I definitely like the sound of.
It is such a great planner with wonderful quotes and pages to fill out with goals, plans and objectives. It is definitely going to get me back on track with managing my yearly goals and happiness. It has been created in collaboration with the non-profit organisation Women & Girls, for International Women’s day (8th March), to help raise funds. Good looking, charitable and functional, my kind of stationery!
There are also some other bits and bobs in the #PrettyPowerful line up for this year – Markus Lupfer tees, fitness classes at the SUPER FUN studio FRAME, in London, and, of course, the Bobbi Brown Pretty Powerful Pot Rouge.
The Bobbi Brown Pretty Powerful Pot Rouge is a such a lovely all-rounder – able to be used on both lips and cheeks. It is a gorgeous shade of medium Pink, with slight Yellow tones, and is the type of shade that will suit all skin tones in different ways. It has a lovely creamy consistency which means it glides onto skin easily and creates a subtle flushed look on the cheeks and a cute nude-pink colour on the lips. You can get yours for £22 and the full price (minus VAT) will be donated to Smart Works – a charity that gives high quality interview clothes and interview training to out of work women on low incomes. Read more about it here.
*I was gifted these items but not expected to write about them in any way and all opinions are 100% honest and my own, as always.
