In the very hopeful mindset that the weather will actually improve and we will get some sort of a summer, we thought it would be fun to put together a little outdoors wish list for kids of all ages.
Roller Skates – oh my goodness me how I bloody loved my roller skates when I was younger. I grew up in the Middle East so we got to play outside for a large majority of the year. The White ones from Proline Skates remind me of my beloved pair. I remember getting rainbow glittery laces for them and being utterly obsessed with showing them off as much as I could. it’s a good activity to increase kid’s balance, co-ordination and confidence, all whilst keeping fit and healthy.
Balance Bike – I found this little beauty, from Bobbin Bikes, over on Instagram and have been lusting after it for ages. Not sure the husband will ever agree to us getting it for Little I, because we got her a decent balance bike off a friend of a friend recently. The thing is though, it also comes in a matching adult style…and I do need a bike…
Scooter – if my neighbour’s kids are anything to go by, scooters are still going strong with the slightly older kids. They are forever scooting about around our cul de sac and the littler ones seem to be transfixed by them as well. This one from Halfords is a good unisex option.
Trampoline – nearly every second house on our street has a trampoline in their garden. We’re surrounded by them with our neighbours! It’s lovely to hear how much fun kids have whilst bouncing about. Little I makes a beeline for trampolines at parks, play centres and friend’s houses so it’s something we’ll probably look into when she’s older. This one from Tesco looks good and is a great price too.
Playhouse – we recently were lucky enough to get a playhouse from family for Little I for her birthday and it has really transformed our garden. We Pinterested it up by painting it Pale Blue, buying a little White picket fence and adding fairy lights, artificial flowers and bunting to it. Little I adores it and is often known to come home from nursery and run straight to the back door shouting ‘HO– — USE HO– — USE’!
Slide Set – at the moment we just have a really old plastic slide that a neighbor gave us when they left our marriage patch. Quite a few of our friends have gotten really fab wooden slide sets so we’re on the hunt now as well. This one from Asda looks great.
Water Activity Pool Play Centre – two separate friends of ours bought different versions of this pool play centre from Argos and have raved about it ever since, Apparently they keep the kids entertained for ages. I suppose it’s because kids are all water obsessed after all.
Picnic Bench – who doesn’t love dining al fresco? Kids will love having their meals or snacks out on this lovely picnic bench from B&M Stores. Simple, colourful and cute. How to sell baby clothes? You need a good design website because parents are looking for the best for their children. Have a look at 22 Best Baby Stores Design
