So with the announcement that Glossier is (finally!!!) about to start shipping to the UK on the 9th October, I thought it would be fun to show you what is in my basket ready and waiting for the big day. I have heard so, so many good things about this brand and couldn’t be more excited to try it out. I read an interview with the owner of the company and her ethos sums up exactly what I want to see from a beauty brand. And just look at the packaging, for goodness sake! Super minimalist and featuring that old fave, millennial Pink. I. Am. Sold.
Super Glow $28
If you put ‘glow’ in the title of a product, there’s a high chance I’ll be popping whatever it is . The Glossier Super Glow contains Vitamin C and Magnesium and over time it apparently evens skin tone and creates a light reflective complexion. Yes please.
Glossier Phase 1 Set $40
This is the dreamiest set I think I have ever seen! It contains the super popular Milk Jelly Cleanser, the Priming Moisturiser and the Balm Dotcom. To be honest, I was mainly after the Milk Jelly Cleaner and Priming Moisturiser so the Balm Dotcom was a bonus. The Milk Jelly Cleanser dissolves away make up and grime and has the same gentle cleaning agents you find in contact lens solution. How about that. The Priming Moisturiser is light and buildable which apparently visably plumps skin up. My sleep deprived skin desperately needs that so happy days.
Perfecting Skin Tint (Light) $26
I have tried a LOT of foundations in my time and am yet to find my holy grail. I’m not usually one for a skin tint but this Perfecting Skin Tint looks amazing and, again, has rave reviews. My skin is starting to get drier (with age, wah) so I perhaps need to investigate these types of products instead of full blown foundation.
Cloud Paint (Puff) $18
Oh my days. The pictures on Glossier’s website of the Cloud Paint in action look so good. It is a ‘pillowy, gel-cream formula’ and looks like it goes on super easily. So excited to try it out because I’ve fallen out of love with my blusher recently.
Boy Brow & Haloscope Duo $30
I think I’m going to go for the Brow Boy in Blond and the Haloscope in Quartz. The Brow Boy is one of Glossier’s best sellers and comes in four shades. It says it will thicken, fill in and groom brows into place. Just what I need! The Haloscope is one of the products I have heard a lot about. It is meant to create a dewy (love that word), hydrated sheen and a lot of beauty bloggers I follow have raved about it.
So! I’ll let you know how I get on and if I get it all ordered. What is your favourite beauty brand?
