Over the past couple months I have had the pleasure of meeting two adorable, little, fresh-out-the-box newborns. One being my nephew on the husband’s side and one being my friends gorgeous little daughter, who were both born within a week of each other.
We seem to be going through a wave of pregnancies and newborns in the blogging world and it seems to be the case in my real world life as well. And I bloody love it!
I love holding them, marveling at their tiny noses, fingers and toes, hearing their little newborn noises and watching them sleep.
Is it making me think about the next one? I can’t lie and say no but I can say I am still not ready yet.
I am loving the stage Little I is at just now. She is hilarious and the pace of development is really stepping up a gear. I love watching her thought processes and figuring out how to solve problems around her. It is utterly fascinating. I would hate to miss all the little things she’s going through and doing because I had my head down a toilet with morning sickness (I suffered terribly with Little I). I miss enough by working full time.
We are getting plenty sleep, we are enjoying time as a family of three, I am busy working away in my full time job and on the new site and we have a very active social life with friends. Basically I‘m happy with life at the moment. I would like to have more time to spend with Little I and to go see family in Scotland but such is life and you just make the most of what you have.
Watch this space though. Baby number two (and three!) is definitely planned at some point. Only time will tell!
For now, I will just stick to stealing cuddles from any newborn that comes my way.
How many babas would you like to have? Or do you have your total brood already?
